The screen starts out black as the sound of a flute is heard. The TEWF fades across the screen before One Wild Night by Bon Jovi blasts out. Clips of matches from the past few weeks are shown. As the chorus hits, the camera cuts to a full shot of the Astrodome where pyrotechnics begin to blast out from the stage. The pyro runs all the way down the ramp way before a massive explosion is set off from the lighting above the ring.
Harrison: Welcome everyone to “Over the Edge!” I’m Gerret Harrison, along side me is my broadcast partner Denice Tomco and boy do we have one helluva show for everyone tonight!
Tomco: That’s right, both titles are on the line tonight as Felix Rivera defends his Junior Heavyweight Title against Mickey Swan, with General Ly as the Special Guest Referee.
Harrison: That’s right, we also have our main event! Mr. W will taking on A-Bomb for the Born 2 Bleed title! Man is that going to tear the house down!
Tomco: You got that right, but unfortunately, we have to sit through boring matches like the one that about to come up.
“In Regards to Myself” by Underoath hits the PA. Two fireworks making a red X go off. Then near the big screen small "sparkler" fireworks go off it the shape of a maple leaf.
The following match is scheduled for one fall. First making his way to the ring weighing in at 243 lbs, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Jason Storm!!!!
Jason comes out and walks to the ring. He rolls in and then taunts the crowd standing on the second rope of two of the turnbuckles
And his opponent….
Lights go out as smoke fills the arena. The lights come on, but just enough to see Dominator being slowly lowered from the rafters to the entrance ramp.
Weighing in at 200lbs, from Rosemead, Dominator!!!
Dominator slowly walks down the ramp. He climbs into the ring and the lights slowly come back on to full power to show him standing in the center of the ring looking up at the rafters.
Before Gibbons can ring the bell, Storm cuts Dominators legs out from under him. Dominator quickly gets up only to receive a kick to the stomach. A standing side headlock is applied to Dominator as Gibbons finally rings the bell.
Harrison: Well, looks like we are underway for tonights action! Although that was a cheap shot by Jason Storm.
Tomco: Hey, Storm is just taking advantage of a weakness he saw in Dominator’s offence. You cant blame him for that.
Dominator pushes up against the ropes and sends Storm across the ring. Storm bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline. He bounces off the ropes against and shoulder tackles Dominator. He quickly gets up and charges Storm, but is sent flying with an armdrag. Again, Dominator rise to his feet and charges towards Storm. This time Storm meets him with a side headlock take down. He holds the move and applies pressure to keep Dominator grounds.
Harrison: An excellent chain of moves by Storm, if he keeps this up, this match is gonna be short!
Dominator rises to his feet, relieving some of the pressure from the side headlock. He throws some elbows into Storm’s gut to force him to release the hold, and attempts a standing dropkick. Storm, blocks the drop kick and catches his foot, applying an ankle lock in the process. Turning his ankle, Storm listens to the screams from the dominator. Gibbons drops down to check on Dominator who is still screaming in pain.
Dominator starts to crawl towards the ropes. Right before he can grab the bottom rope, Storm pulls him back to the center of the ring. He then steps over the back of Dominators leg and transitions into the Candian Crab. He continues to apply pressure tp the back as Dominator continues to crawl his way to the ropes.
Harrison: Storm has done an excellent job of keeping Dominator grounded.
Tomco: *Yawn* Whatever, when is this match going to get over with…
Dominator manages to grab the bottom rope, forcing Storm to relinquish the hold. Storm holds on until him for a count of four before letting go to avoid disqualification. He then grabs the middle of rope and drives his knee into the swell of Dominator’s back a few times. Gibbon’s forces Storm back while Dominator tries to use the ropes to struggle to his feet.
Storm pushes forward while Dominator stabilizes himself into the corner. Dominator throws an elbow into Storm’s face and hops up to the top rope. Dominator goes for a cross body block, but Storm moves out of the way as Dominator crashes to the ground. Jason Storm crouches into the corner and waits for Dominator to struggle to his feet.
Dominator rises slowly to his feet. As he turns around he Storm runs through his with a devastating Northern Lariat. Storm drops to his knees and covers Dominator.
1 2 3!!!!
And your winner… Jason Storm!
Storm stands up and celebrates as Dominator slowly rolls out of the ring.
Harrison: What a match up that was! Jason storm finishing off with what he says “Came from Canada”
Tomco: It’s about time! Now we can get closer to the real matches!
